Service Management Module The new Service Management Module is currently included at no charge when you upgrade to The Retail Solution 10.0. One of the new features is the Customer Tracked Item. This feature allows you to store user-definable information about an item a customer has brought in for repair: for example, a computer, copier or hot tub. Examples of information you might want to track for these items would be: next service date, warranty dates, replacement and repair information, or notes. You can create an unlimited number of tracked items per customer. Another new feature is called Service Tags. This feature allows you to create your own customized service tags. Each service tag can include tracking for multiple serial numbers and directly interfaces with customer tracked items. The unique reference number from the tag can be used to recall the work order at anytime.
